The “Tibet Day” of Expo 2019 Beijing kicked off on August 15. Senior officials from Tibet Autonomous Region, Beijing municipal government and China Flower Association attended the event. Zhang Huijuan, Vice Commissioner of the China Pavilion of the Expoaddressed the ceremony.

Zhang Huijuan called on the government of Tibet Autonomous Region to further exchanges with other countries through the event, thus giving new impetus to the construction of Tibet's ecological civilization as well as economic and social development.

The three-day "Tibet Day" event featured a series of exhibitions including the “plateau and pure soil” health products exhibition, Tibetan intangible cultural heritage show, art performance and Tibetan cultural experience.
