The China South City Xi'an Session of the 18th ITFCEW & Silk Road International Exposition, jointly held by the CCPIT, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Commerce and Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, kicked off on May 24. The Silk Road Countries’ Products Experience Pavilion set up by China South City Xi'an also opened.
Vice chairman of the CCPIT Zhang Wei, Vice Governor of Shaanxi Province Wang Lixia, vice chairman of CPPCC Shaanxi Li Dongyu, president of China South City Xi'an Liang Manlin, Deputy Secretary-General of Shaanxi Provincial Government Zhang Xiaoning, vice mayor of Xi'an Han Song and other leaders attended the opening ceremony.
Zhang Wei said the pavilion aims to help enterprises to develop commodity transaction and promote trade facilitation with open circulation. Its establishment will further shorten the way of Silk Road countries’ products to enter China and bring the Chinese huge market opportunities to the countries. He added the CCPIT will help China South City Xi'an to improve service and expand investment channels for smooth flow of trade between China and the countries along the Silk Road.
Zhang Wei, Wang Lixia and Moscow Chamber of Commerce president unveiled the nameplate of the pavilion which signaled the opening.
Covering an exhibition area of nearly 100,000 square meters, the pavilion focuses on characteristic industry and boutique exhibition of the countries and regions along the Silk Road including discount outlet area, brand clothing and shoes area, international leather and fur area, fine Chinese silk area, etc.
